Ohio Pictures Due

Hey there blogger buddies! Oh my goodness, you guys might as well drop me in the Guinness Book of World Records for the laziest blogger in history. It's been ages since I post. Time has wound up and tangled multiple events in my life at once and I've completely dodged my blogging wishes. The past few weeks I've been having College exams, multiple recording sessions, and gigs everywhere. I have missed out on the chance to sit down and post. I apologize I also haven't been able to comment on all the blogs of you lovely people. Hopefully things will slow down now and I can tend to these things more.

Anywhooo, these pictures here are some I had mentioned in my previous Ohio visit post. These are from my visit back in September with my boyfriend Ryan Demaree. It was just me taking pictures all jolly in my red flower rose crown stomping around in his room, proud to be surrounded by his glorious artwork. I miss my boyfriend so much, but we are soon to see each other, currently planning a visit for Christmas time. I wore this dress with him in our previous visit in Canada you saw on this post here, it is definitely on of my most favourite red pieces.

Red eyelet mini-dress - Thrifted
Black chunky-heel pumps - Thrifted
Red rose floral crown - Handmade

Enjoy the pictures and my boyfriend's artwork!

My boyfriend's biggest painting to date:
"Lascaux" -by Ryan Demaree

-a piece of his inspired by the Palaeolithic cave paintings in the french pre-historic caves of Lascaux.
Ryan considers his the top of his best paintings, and indeed it is majestic. If you would like more information on it or even purchase any prints you can check it out HERE.

It can make a great mouse pad or mug or ipod case image ;) I can also give you his contact info
for any questions :)

-"Lascaux" -by Ryan Demaree

Here we see some of his other paintings hanging by his wall next to his bed. I remember I would bump into these a lot when I would sit on his bed and almost knock them down haha. Sorry baby XD. The titles for these are "Cosmic Broadcast -Last Transmission"  on the left and "Behind the Scenes-Morning Broadcast" right in case you would like to know ;).

S'more of them round the room:
These are "Copernicasso" on the left and "The Eternal Staring Contest" on the right.

As you can see, there is stacks and stacks of more paintings of his located all over his room, the man's got tons. Tons for me to explore ;).

Even more paintings back there ;)

There's my gorgeous bearded man and me :)

Ode to Ryan's Masterpiece :).

There's us darlings together :).

I totally interrupted him and closed his laptop and started kissing him ^_^.

And the kiss took over ;).

What a win :)

Hope you enjoyed the post! My bad it was a month late.
Peace and love and happy blogging to you all.
Hope you enjoy the excellent fall weather :)

Epic Outings While in Ohio!

Hello everyone! As I had mentioned, I had promised some pictures of some of my time in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A with my boyfriend Ryan Demaree where I had been for the last past 2 weeks on vacation. Honest, many of our days we had our plate full with our own projects to work on  as swell as many outings with Ryan's family, so I apologize we weren't able to get very many pictures together.

However, we managed to capture some shots of a visit to downtown Columbus's parliament building - the Ohio State House - a magnificent large stone building with American history all over it that my boyfriend's wonderful grandparents John and Bridget took us to. I was very happy to get to explore the building with them that day, it was beautifully made with truly unique old stone interiors with intricate design! Here is the very front of the Ohio State House:

As you can see this part of the building had a majestic sunroof, and it was intense in real life compared to the image below, it makes me wonder how on earth the builders got the guts to craft such beauty at such a height!

The following shot is of an oil painting, that is by misfortune a bit blurry, but its a famous piece by William Powell named "Perry's Victory"completed in 1865. The painting could take up the space of at least two of the walls in my house today, it was immense with the most thickest frame, we wondered how they managed to keep it up on the wall! I wonder if my boyfriend would somehow like to work on  a painting project of that large size?

There you see me! I am standing over a huge granite floor map of the state of Ohio. Its fantastically made. It made me feel like I could just hop from county to county in seconds :P

The Ohio State House was breathtaking, but not as much I think as the next part of the trip my boyfriend's grandparents had planned out for us. Knowing that Ryan and I are art history enthusiasts and very much appreciate the Impressionist period, the grandparents took us to see a park downtown named "Deaf School Park" where a famous garden grows mimicking the positions of all the persons & scenery in this famous impressionist painting by Georges Seurat named "A Sunday Afternoon in the Park".

You wouldn't believe it, but they actually did it! They brought the painting to life using living shrubbery fastened around metal structures! It grows all year. I thought this was incredibly neat, really enjoyed myself there. Just makes me think of the wonderful things human beings can put their minds to and achieve. If you're ever downtown Ohio I encourage you to stop by! My boyfriend's grandparents really surprised us with this. I was so happy to walk about and see all this.

There were also some fabulous pink water lilies hanging out on the pond by the park. They were looking like gorgeous fine ladies and were screaming for attention, so we gave them some :)

And of course, if you look up to the sky, there are always beautiful cloud displays for free in the Ohio sky, so my boyfriend looked up and took a picture of this one :)

A second most wonderful outing my boyfriend and I got to experience was getting to visit the Ohio Renaissance Fair for the second time! As we did around the same time last year, my boyfriend and I made sure to dress up in whatever we could find renaissance-like. I must say we looked quite dashing as a couple ;). Ryan wore a black on black ensemble with a loose waist belt and a top hat, which I think he looks super handsome in ^_^. And I wore a white droopy dress with my black corset and a flower crown which I had put together from red plastic roses that very same day. Ryan's little sister Lindsey drove us there and back with her friend Very along on the ride. She is quite a professional driver I must say! I was so happy she volunteered to take us to the Fair, I didn't want to miss it for the world.
Thank you Lindsey!

Well what can I say folks, if you've never been to a Renaissance Fair - type event for yourself, I really recommend them. They are absolutely hilarious and colourful and tons of epic crazy people willing to go all out with period outfits and accents. There is a jousting competition, a historical dungeon, gypsy belly dancers, singing wenches, giant pretzels sold on sticks, sword shops, musicians, fairy shops, and just about anything you can think of! Just loads of fun ^_^.

Here are some pictures of how my boyfriend and I dressed and a few pictures of me picking corn from a field on our way to the Fair. As a corn-lover I had to make sure I picked an authentic Ohio corn :D
Anyhow, have yourself a look! And then if you want head over to my boyfriend's youtube channel for a brief video of what its like at the Renaissance Fair! We got footage of a gypsy dancing balancing a full cup of beer on her head! Its quite the entertainment. Have a look HERE!

Hope you've had a lovely summer as well everyone! Now its back to school for me.
Only 2 weeks of summer vacation was unforgettable in the arms of my boyfriend, who is as awesome as it gets. I will be following this post up with another one of me and him soon.

Cheers! Have a great week everyone :)

Peace & Love

Down in Ohio with the Boyfriend

Hello my dear blogger buddies!
You have come across the laziest blogger ever, I owe you all some posts, I haven't composed any posts
in ever so long!

I shall deliver my lame excuses: two weeks ago I was finishing the very few last of my 10 or so music college exams, and when I was finished I packed up and went to visit my boyfriend Ryan Demaree and his family in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. I have been down here in Ohio for the past week. My boyfriend and I have been relaxing, going on walks, taking many videos of nature as well as hanging out with his family. Yesterday my boyfriend's sister Lindsey, her buddy Trey, and my boyfriend and I all visited the  Ohio Renaissance Festival! I will be posting some pictures of my boyfriend and I's costumes here within the net few days, unfortunately we did not take that many pictures at the fair this year due to much rain throughout the day.

I do love it here in Ohio. There's nothing like the sweet corn countryside, cricket symphonies at night, dozens on butterflies during the day, and some of the most majestic sunsets. It is very calm and peaceful indeed down here. Most of all, I am loving the hours I get to spend with my boyfriend, which have thankfully gone by so slow. This visit to Ohio has marked our 2nd year of being together in our lasting long distance relationship. He gives me all the hugs I need and teaches me the most wonderful things about astronomy and painting. A fine 2 week vacation indeed, in the arms of my man ^_^.

We've been watching many space movies! 4 of the best science fictions movie I will ever see!
I do recommend them if you have some spare film time!

These are the ones we've been watching:

Contact (1997):

Mission to Mars (2000):

2001 A Space Odyssey (1968):

2010 The Year We Make Contact (1984):

Well that is it for now folks!
Some outfit posts are soon to come.
May you all have some relaxing days and a wonderful summer ending!
Peace & Love

Dear summer, won't ya stay a little longer?

I had nothing to say for the time I took this post, so I had left it blank. I just appreciated what I wore that day and that was that haha.

Ever feel that way? :P

Red Prairie Dress

Took out this little beauty today to wear because the day was dandy and sweet and I wanted to be all cheerful in red. Also got on my little ring -yang sphere necklace which actually makes a jingling sound! Hahah its quite magical. Not diggin' my bangs too much today, they have been persistently getting into my eyes! I can't wait till they grow back out, they have been fun, but I think they are in their annoying teen years now ahaha. I shouldn't talk, because I am still a teen.

I am longing to take a long walk in the forest and sit on tree stomps and sing to the birds and squirrels in this dress, but I can't because I am busy completing projects and studying for a whole 2 weeks of exams coming up. Goodness gracious! I am scared, but I'm charging my brains with info and preparing to do my best on these! After that I am off to Ohio to see my boyfriend for a few days of vacation :)
I can't wait to see him, once this whole storm is over I get to go on magical forest walks with him and kiss and hold hands and all that fun stuff ^_^. Ohio woods are even more cool because they have little deers running around. Yaaay ^_^. Summer please grant me a safe and lovely trip! And grant all my wonderful readers a gorgeous week aswell :)

Peace and love!
